Following their confrontation with Sephek Kaltro, a pair of The Frostmaiden's emissaries, wolves named Koran and Kanan, delivered a message in blood. Under the Frostmaiden's spell, the party found themselves defenseless, just spirits outside their bodies, armed with nothing but the ability to fly and a stairway leading upward. Will the party survive the encounter and what awaits them at the top of the stairs.

Everything has lead to this moment. From high winds, blizzards, and voices on the wind, the Frostmaiden has delivered the party to her servant. The Frostmaiden is a cunning goddess, employing a number of agents to maintain her will upon Ten-Towns. One of them is Sephek Kaltro, the former captain of the Dark Duchess. The blue glow of his eyes don't miss much, and they've been keeping an eye on the party. The party is on the road again to Dougan's Hole, goaded by a voice on the wind and a note afixed to a tree.

The various settlements of Ten-Towns are in dire straits, ever since the Frostmaiden cursed them with an eternal winter. As a result, the party was asked to contain a verbeeg threat to the town of Good Mead, and they were (mostly) successful. They even found some decent loot. This venture took our party 4 hours out of town, can they make it back in time to stop another murder from taking place?

Newly arrived in Good Mead, Bosera, Ahme and Mirabella learned of a verbeeg threat to the city. Along with Hefrumlir Warbraids, the dwarven cleric and Hlin Trollbane, the former bounty hunter, the party decided to help the town out. Following the discovery of five dead militia men in the forest, the party followed a pair of large tracks to a cave where Bosera roused a sleeping polar bear.

Following their victory in the abandoned cave of the Blade Born Valley, Mirabella Whitemoon, Ahme, and Bosera Splitfish enjoy all that the valley has to offer, including BBQ, foot rubs, and stealing things from Percy Long Prong's Unusual Curiosities. The trio meets the proprietor of the Wandering Library, Xander Ralem, and are sent north to help an old friend of Cordelia, the proprietor of the Inn at the Tearful Tankard.
After meeting and freeing Dave Sizzlepan, a half-dwarf, the party moves further into the mine to find out what happened to the residents of this valley.
