Tiny progress report

Stripster's development is progressing fairly well. I've got some new features in progress and with some placeholders and also the correct busts for the twister girl.

I can't wait to reveal her to you all but to do that I'll need to wait a bit more. In the meantime you can compare how small you are to her hand, eh eh~.

A new video devlog is out!

A second footage about the progresses on the game has been released! I apologize for the lack of news, we've spent quite a lot of time to develop new features and to also edit this footage. Seemed like an easy job but real life got in the middle and slowed some things down.
Anyway, here's a focus on what happens after you get caught during a game, lots of surprises and a little character reveal in the mix too.

Creation of a Youtube channel.

As the game progresses steadily, I have also been working with my editor friend Makuto and now thanks to him we have our official youtube channel. More footages about Stripster and probably other future game projects will be shown here.

Currently there's only the same gameplay footage as before as we transfered it here. But more is about to come, as soon as I have it in a more presentable form.

Progresses and evaluation.

The core of the game itself is almost completed. There are still a lot of placeholder assets around but mechanic wise, it is now a game with victory, losing conditions and a scoring system.

Either you survive or get caught, at the end of the game your performance will be evaluated. All the bits you gathered will be counted and more will be given to you depending on how many viewers you convinced to stay and watch the show to th...

Progress on the game is being steady and at a good enough point to being shown, at least in part with a short but interesting gameplay footage. Another short teasing footage as the game progresses and starts to take shape. Still in very WIP form but it's already giving amazing vibes! The perfect music sync is also the cherry on top.

Introducing Bits!

While worrying where the wheel will point next and scrambling on the mat all over, you will notice some little glowing orbs hovering around.

The crowd watching the show will donate money and fractions of those donations will be launched all over the field to be available to you in the form of bits. Pick one of those orbs up and you'll immediately get to know how many bits you earned from it.

Added motions and dangers

A new footage showcasing the addition of an idle movement mechanic: while awaiting what to do, the huge girl above you is allowed to slightly adjust her position on the circles she's currently standing on. 

The less stable she is, the more these small movements will happen, each one of them being capable to push the player away and be dangerous in the same way of her usual movements, dictated by the wheel.

Bigger clothes tests

Still in test assets field but now that the code to handle clothes falling on the mat has been handled successfully, I tested it with a much bigger sample, closer to the size those clothes will have in game.

In addition to that, a second image showing the system is capable to handle two or more pieces ending up close or on top of each other, merging their slowing fields accordingly.

Another test footage showing additional features. Purposely without audio as there isn't quite much any news to show in that matter. Assets are also in a very placeholder state yet, for now the main concern is to slowly progress on the game loop. 

Giving a taste of how the girl falling down will be handled and subsequently how she will place clothes on the field the more times she falls. Walking over said clothes will slow...

New projects incoming

After releasing FVD, I took a little break to enjoy it's results. I saw the game being well received here and in the Felarya community for which I'm really thankful for, but unfortunately some other real life events had put my mood to be really down recently.
Things are a bit better, I'm slowly getting my mood for coding back and organizing stuffs for what to start to develop next.

It's my birthday today but apparently I am also the one giving a gift here!

A strange sighting.

The challenge has been completed!

Well, would you look at that, turns out reaching popularity level 5 in the very first level was indeed possible, despite I had failed to do so.
It was pretty satisfying and... also hilarious to see how some people really thought out of the schemes to overcome this pretty hard task xD

Adjustments and a fun challenge to spend some time.

A new spellset will be available in the next update. What it is? Well, to know you'll have to find all the missing pages first.
In testing those challenges and having fun with them, I had to apply a correction to the very first one. Unfortunately after various testings that I personally did, it turned out to be quite the feat so I downgraded it to a much more accessible level.
