The purple dragon is coming along nicely! ๐๐
After I finished the base corset, I made all of the small scales individually out of 2mm EVA foam. They were all shaped with a heat gun, then I created a little ridge down the center to make a spine-like effect. They were then glued onto the corset one by one with E6000, then pinned into place while they dried. I staggered the layers as I went along.

I just finished the corset base for Spyro! Itโs made out of two layers of duck and one layer of purple satin with steel boning and lacing bones.
Even though it is pretty, this whole entire thing is going to be covered in purple and yellow scales... ๐ฑ๐คฃ
Itโs gonna be a fun time~

I hope you guys love this photo as much as I do!! This was a project that was totally out of my comfort zone, since most of the things I make are refined and pretty looking. So weather and distressing to make the fabric look dirty was a challenge for me...
