I am trying to get this DONE today. I've been doing a lot of work on my art anxiety in particular lately and I'm trying like mad to beat this bitch. I'm getting there, I can feeel it. that was a typo but it's staying now

new tier art

I got around to doing art for each of my tiers. I also took down a bunch of tiers while I restructure them/figure out some more art. but for now, here's the first four tiers! I'm really pleased with how they turned out, and now I just have to work out a few more

Bump-y boy

I'm like full body exhaustion right now thanks to being almost a week late on my T injection because of a pharmacy mishap. sitting at my desk is a lot but snuggling up on the couch with my sketchbook while rewatching Charmed isn't!

the course is taking a step back and focusing on simple shapes now. I really like the instructor but he does jump around a bit lol. the mind of an artist at work
tbh I don't mind though. I find simple shape exercises like this to be kind of meditative. I don't have to worry about getting it right because I already know how to draw a box or a cube, but the structured way in which I do it gives my brain that good meditative flow vib...

it's leg day, which is to say I started learning legs today. honestly I'm glad I went back to basics like this even though sometimes I feel silly for it, like idk how to draw or something. but I think instead it's probably helping me to strengthen my skills a lot to start from scratch like this

Lazy doodlin

idk I like drawing butts I guess
bodies are hard and I want to draw them better. the anatomy lessons are nice but doing really focused work is kind of mentally draining at times, so this was more of a casual sketch/doodle session practicing with different art stock refs just for funsies

art lessons

it's been a lot of bowling pins and bean people in my art lessons so far but it's been fun! I thiiiink I'm getting better? 😅😅 I'm here more for the muscle memory and neuropathway development than the perfection of tiny bean people anyway so I guess it all works out
