Well, we have a special guest today! I really enjoyed this one. Lots of fun moments and surprises, too.

I've slowed down on my Buffy rewatch at the moment and just watched Fool for Love over the weekend. I might put it on pause for now, at least until midway through season 6! Which boggles the mind, that we've been here for so long. It feels like it's all gone too quickly, and even Angel will have us in season 3 soon 🥹

I am so glad that this episode had some positivity, and it just makes me wonder if they kind of planned it that way, to give us a glimmer of happiness. I'd like to think they don't hate their fans THAT much 😉

Oh my, this one was so interesting! The stories on Angel always have me thinking on a deeper level, often never failing to surprise me and I really liked the way this one went. Especially the ending!

Okay, so, this was a fun romp. We had some interesting things happen, it was like a monster of the week type episode, some funny moments, a few heartfelt moments.

And then the ending happened. Which I really don't want to mention here and to be completely honest, I don't know what to say. I will say it's been burned into my mind since I've seen it and it's genuinely upsetting.

I hope you all had a lovely weekend! It was pretty quiet for me, I tried to not do TOO much work (though I think by now I have some sort of workaholic problem and need intervention haha) and enjoyed a lovely meal out on Saturday. I had mushroom gnocchi which apparently had some truffle on it, and I know from watching Masterchef that's meant to be fancy. They could have easily have left it off as I don't even know what it tastes like....

Sorry, I'll try to calm down 🤣 What an amazing episode! I am such a fan of this season. We know the characters so well by now, we love and adore them, and that feeling just heightens everything. My goodness, I'm happy.

Rewatch update: I'm at season 4, episode 18! Soon I'll be watching that funky final episode of Season 4 and might pick up on a few more things that I didn't know at the time.

I've just noticed the similar titles of this episode and the previous Angel episode, Blood Money. I wonder if there's any reason behind that? Nothing that I can think of, so far, but I like it!

Unfortunately, we've reached a point in my Doctor Who journey which saddens me to announce. This is no longer my "go-to happy feels" show. It's made me cry and broke my heart too many times now to be able to trust it. It's now joined the ranks of Buffy.

Seriously, I'm actually going to start changing the time of day I record these episodes! I would usually do them whenever... I sometimes record a bunch of videos in the one day....

Angel 2 x 11 Redefinition Reaction

Ahhh this episode is SO FUN! It's like one of those murder mystery games you play at dinner parties. I've never been to a party like that, but I'd love to! I've always wanted to try it out. This one was just so nicely done and kept me guessing until the end.
