 i had an idea that could help me to improve.  by creating a reference list of my characters i can draw from these instead of painting over a render, or even referencing a render.  and since it is my own line work it should be easier for me to replicate it from the reference 

that's the idea anyway ;)

tried another approach.  i posed the models then just did a screen cap rather then a render and worked on it for an hour to see what i come up with

using some reference i did a 1 hour speed paint practice.  this time i have a set goal...to get a folio quality image done in an hour speed paint. so i plan to do a LOT of these

so basically i am streamlining my folio process to be as efficient as humanly possible.  taking out every single superfluous step so i spend the maximum time on the final "make it sexy" step

first we have the render.  also i am working on the panda comic from the beginning as i still don't like the pacing of the first 8 pages.  when there is something legible i will post the pages

with this step i just work on the areas that need fixing or refinement.  

next step will be to do the Photoshop filter and add my shape painting

so i am refining my work flow a bit more to try and be just a bit more efficient.  

first the render.  i took a lot more time on the pose then normal and just lucked out on finding a better angle for my camera then my initial sketch 

the next step will be the line work corrections but this time I will only work on the areas that actually NEED fixing
