so i found out how to work the HD subdivision in Zbrush and now i can get my textures to be really detailed.  makes the concept of painting models fun again

so i finally have all the renders done but the back grounds will be taking a LONG time to get done.  because of the time it will take i am going to get back to folios and models tomorrow. i just need to pace myself for my projects

ok i just got back from NYCC and one of the artists from TopCow has agreed to "beat me into shape" so to speak.  so over the next 2 weeks i will be working on a short 7 page story of my characters that he will "help me get gud enough so he can just hand my work over to his editor and say 'give this guy work' "

so i had a problem... i was going to do a full new folio in the library but with some 3d distractions and a bit under the weather i did not even get all the renders done so i figured it would be a better idea to keep redoing old folios instead of rushing a new one out at a lower quality.  

i am also trying to balance the 3d figure creation, with studying up on 3d animation.  creating the HD details for models and the folios ...

i re-rigged my giraffe model to use until i can rebuild her model.

i will need to change her ears, feet, tail, give her a vagina and redo her textures in HD but here is her new base model
