With this one I am trying a different method of applying my color. Instead of placing down the local color then applying the light and shadow, I am applying the lighting firs and will place the local color on top of it, mixing with different layer modes and opacities

Structure structure structure. So  I am redoing the base forms on these two because it was not quite right. I am using a lot of reference and noticing many mistakes in my first draft. So time to iron them out

Ho hum. This is being a challenge trying to get my work flow to work again. I have redone the color and line work about 2-3 times on each element of this image and I am still not happy with it. I have made a SFW version hoping to advertise it before next Monday. But I need to figure out a coloring method that really world for me and due to my color blindness and lack of confidence I hope to really push to try and overcome...

next few months set up

ugh what a day. i just finished setting up the next 12 folios. tomorrow when i make them more  legible I will start posting them. This is going to be a grind for me as I need to get these done before april so you all have content when I am off on my trip

Ok so I managed to get control over my gaming but I still have a long way to go on this. I am going to try and finish it tonight so that means another all nighter for me. I only have about a month and a half before my trip to London and that will be 10 days away so I need a back log of content to keep posting…..time to knuckle down again

Oops another not so fruitful day of posting. Iiiii’ve been playing a video game from my childhood and got all nostalgic. Hopefully I have scratched that itch and can get back to making content.

Well since this Is supposed to be in a pool she is actually under water so when I add color it will make more sense. Been a bit slow today artistically. Sorry but I will try better

Ok I am glad I got this one done a bit faster. With about 2 and a half hours rather than the ….(counts the hours from when I started this morning) 7 HOURS!?!?!? What the hell was I doing !?!?!? wow I knew I was being slow but 7 hours for a line work? Maybe I got abducted by aliens and they took my stylus away with a “NO! No drawing for you!” ….or I procrastinated, but where’s the fun in THAT excuse?

Structure structure structure!

Although this took all day the structure is the most important thing. So I will leace this alone for a day and come back to add more details. This is one of the snake folio that I said looked like chicken scratch at first because I am such a messy sketcher

Honestly I have high hopes for this one. With a bubbling green goo creating light at the bottom and a “heavenly” blue light at the top, and paired with the angle and expression. I think this could be a decent drawing (I hope)

So I redid the color on this one. Just going with the flat base first and deleting the layer above the line work. What I plan to do is refine the highlights and shadows on the under layers before painting over the line work   

Also you may notice I am using tags again. Well when I came back online they just started working again (woohoo)

Been a bit busy today  with no art requirements but I hope that is all out of the way so I can get back to work

And now we have the flat colors for the bodies. The first time I tried to apply color I did the characters first, and they ended up way to bright. So I added some of the back ground color into the characters so they would unify more with the environment…..i hope it is working
