refining the pages in the thumbs turns out to be a very good idea im not getting bogged down with the details at this early stages and i will be able to choose my colors easier

i still have a lot of problems with color. it never comes easy for me which is why i mostly used 3d renders for my base color.
today i messed around with ways i could make color choice easier on my and i went back to rendering out a good scene but this time using the eye dropper to select base colors and painting them on a blank background rather then blending in the render itself

i printed out some of my sketches to try out different methods of painting right now i have settled on a copic watercolor base, then take it into clip studio and paint on it like i used to with my 3d renders. im hoping the final result will get around my problems with choosing base colors and even simple color rendering without 3d assist

she is done very rough so i can user her right away and resculpt her as needed

ok the parts i am nor coloring on this stage is because i will use water color on those parts and the colors are so muted so they don't interfere with the copic layer coming up
