after looking at my previous post i decided to go back right away and redo from the ground up (or at least the flats)

removed a bunch of layers and simplified all the shadows and highlights.  the goal is to make it look just like an animated cell which i think i lost sight of earlier

sorry for no post yesterday. sunday is pretty much the only day i give myself off and so i don't do much work if any that day.  tomorrow is the last day of this "grind" so it looks like 10 or 11 is my limit at one sitting.

ok so this is done and on to the next.  this takes longer than my other style but i can only get faster and better if i practice

so i rendered a bunch last night and now to paint as many as possible. as you can see, the more involved backgrounds add so much more fun to the image.  on to the next (hopefully i can get more than 2 done today )

last night i had an idea for a rig that removes the need for lots of shape keys.  this rig is meant to give as much direct control as possible so that only the eye lids need shape keys

Liu and Arthur Sheeah's bed room.  it has been way too long since i really concentrated on backgrounds, just kinda slapping them in there but no more.  with all the tools and bits i have access too things can get a lot more interesting.  to bad i am still so slow at these

because i want to make more Liu/Arthur folios in the celshaded style i decided to make a new model for Liu that i could import into Blender and Rig. i made a few small alterations to Liu in that i made her bust size slightly bigger and hips slightly rounder then shesheiks and her feet are also slightly smaller.

Liu and arthur bedwarming lines

well line work still takes quite a while for me as i was working most the day on this but i am getting a bit better at it.

one thing i use to do was try to "collect" styles of illustration. to be able to copy multiple forms of genres so i could have more flexibility in my expressions.

one "mentor" tried to stomp that out but now i am getting back into it

anyway i have updated and edited Mar's base armor so i can start importing it to blender for rigging and with currently 56 bits that seems like a tedious task
