ok so i have had a bit of a relapse in the sick department so not much work to show for today. i really thought i was over it but no. so i was only able to sketch out the start of some KOTA characters

okay dokay i am back and feeling better. in hind site my drop in productivity may have been attributed to me being sick for longer than i thought. though today i woke up feeling energetic and capable of getting stuff done. so here's and anthro fluttershy (or more anthro than normal ) and i can start having stuff for the mane six and videos and 3d models back up soon

so yesterday was filled with a lot of 3d rigging and weight painting experiments. i have been working on getting blender shape keys to work with done drivers so that i have more control over the deformations and can make a simpler rig structure. however with drivers i have found every tutorial skipping over the most important part of linking the driver to bone movement. now i HAVE been able to make it work a few times but my understandi...

The White Mantids Progress update

whew this 3d stuff really eats up a lot of time and energy. with the UV unwrapping and the textureing and all the bouncing between programs. this will still take a while to finish. then there is the rigging and saving so others can use it but it will eventually be done and extremely customizable

so if you have been wondering why things have been erratic with me. well i just had a little crisis on inspiration and letting things get to me. i am sort of taking a break from the stress by just letting go of everything. i don't know what i will be drawing but i will draw a lot of sketches like these ones until i feel more in control of my faculties
