It’s been 80-90 degrees every day this past week, and then suddenly over the weekend it was 67 and raining. It got me thinking about autumn and the crisp chill of the air that is sure to come. So this week as the AIMS team flops around the dark forest, think about curling up and getting cozy with some hot cocoa.
The moon landing. Y2K. Toyotathon. Some events are so important, such a part of our cultural identity, that we remember where we were when we experienced it. We remember everything about those days, from the scent in the air to the way the sun felt as it shone upon our faces. The second year of 1900HotDog was more important and culturally impactful than all that other bullshit, and we have the merch to prove it.
There was a time when every video game company from around the world came to downtown Los Angeles to showcase their upcoming titles. The amazing event was called The Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3, and companies like Sony and Microsoft would fill airplane hangar-sized multimedia installations and $4,000,000 parties with nerd-weary bik...
We’ve written about John Fenley before. You can click this link to read it, but he’s just your basic CD storage grifter turned crimetown land baron/frustrated Go-kart track purveyor. Long story short, he...
It is a Saturday morning in the mid '90s. You are up uncharacteristically early, perhaps awakened by the sound of a lawnmower off in the distance of your charming, middle-class residential neighborhood. Birds chirp pleasantly outside your window, perched in the horse chestnut tree that towers above your modest bungalow — which, being the ...
Anyone know how to reach Lochlainn? There’s a job opening.
I’d like to make a referral.
While grieving matters, so does seizing the moment. My old rival Eric flamed out like a bald Duke Nukem, and I need a foil. Seabrook’s the 2025-09-16 12:00:36 +0000 UTCView Post
This doll hunting thing has not been going well. You'd be surprised how cost prohibitive purchasing haunted dolls to murder can be. Sometimes you purchase a doll and its malevolent spirit is damaged during shipping, which isn't always UPS's fault; sometimes the seller doesn't even put a "please handle with care, full of evil" sticker on the...
In the early '90s, there was a murder you've probably heard of. The suspect was a Heisman trophy-winning NFL Hall-of-Famer, a movie star, and the celebrity spokesperson for Dingo cowboy boots, Hertz Rental Car, Pioneer Chicken, Chevrolet, Wilson Sporting Goods, Treesweet Orange Juice, Schick Flexomatic Razors, and Honey Baked Ham. If it's s...
The Calgary Flames are a professional hockey team. They’re also destroying themselves, and music, and Canada. The Calgary Flames are cursed in these profound ways despite how cute their outfits were in 1987:
Hey, glad you could make it. Turns out the rest of the crew couldn't be here, though. Yeah, Jessie's got a stomach thing, Kareem's dogsitting, and Dave got grabbed by ICE. It's cool, though. I picked up this new one-shot game we can play instead of our regular campaign. I know, I really wanted to see how the party dealt with the Sex Gnomes ...
I challenge you to Dolls. I'm looking to build an elite team of doll hunters. We will purchase all the most menacing dolls for sale on Etsy and eliminate them. However, for budgetary purposes, we'll need to make sure we're only eliminating the dolls that are plotting something and not regular, unhaunted dolls. That's phase two. For the pu...
Big BIGFEETS posters ft. BIGFEETS. It’s quite the large feat.
This week I’m showing you our posters in case you forgot about them. Perfect for wrapping gifts to friends, or wallpapering your room. You can even use the back as blank paper to write on. A billion uses, all of them fantastic!
Why does Jeff have a skull up his nose? Why is Buck locked up in a dancer's cage? Why are they still in the Dark Forest? Are we really gonna eat all this deer poop? All these questions and more will likely be forgotten as the AIMS Team gets distracted in part one of this two-part finale!

I woke up with a thought too stupid to pursue, but impossible to ignore. "What's the deal with all the bad toys named Jimmy?" It was garbage. That's not a topic for discussion. That's not an article. A worthless waste of thought, so I went to my office to never think about it again when a voice from the books said, "I know you heard me."

The United Kingdom is currently speedrunning national decline, obsessing over internet activity, immigration, and public bathroom usage while its decrepit, aging population hollers terrified hate-jabberings out their windows like Bloodborne NPCs. But despite their current laser focus on hitting themselves and their many, many crime...
