How I Made May in 24 hours and under $50*

*minus the anchor and with some supplies I already owned / NOT including time put into it.

I guess this could count as a tutorial?? This was a really fun little project that I used to be intimidated by. I wanted to cosplay may for a LONG time - ever since Guilty Gear vs. BlazBlue came out years ago ahahah! I was always unsure how I wanted to do her design, so when Strive released, I was SO excited to see a comfy version of May that I can even wear when I work conventions (even though different shoes will be a must when I'm on my feet ALLL day).

SO, to start, what you'll need is:

Everything else I already owned, i.e. scissors, foam, extra fabric(scraps), paint, and glue! (I actually bought 6 packs of glue from amazon for like $50 months ago!)

Definitely a lot to think about, that with just some ingenuity and willingness to look around, it's not hard at all to find things that can make do just as well๐Ÿค”

I definitely want to post more like this! I worry it'd get repetitive though since I rehash a lot of techniques through most of my projects. If you ever have questions on how something was made, I can answer them! Or if you have questions on how to approach something, I can absolutely give you my perspective :)

This is wild, you made it look easy!! I don't have any first hand experience myself, so I couldn't say what I'd do different if anything, but I'm hoping I can absorb what I'm seeing here today in case I ever get brave enough to try something like this myself! :) thank you for this post!
