Chapter #2: Crazy explanations.

Daphne was nervous, she knew she had witnessed something she shouldn’t have witnessed and she was being proved right now that they moved away from the balcony where she saw Potter and Professor Sinistra kissing, now they were in the professor’s private chambers. 

“Take this Miss Greengrass,” the older woman suddenly placed a cup of tea on a glass table in front of Daphne. 

They were in her living room and Daphne was sitting in front of Potter who also had a cup of tea alongside the older woman, they were sitting together but they weren’t that close, still, they couldn’t stop themselves from looking at the blonde with curiosity. 

Daphne was a little hesitant to taste the drink, so she took the cup and decided to give it a smell, she was very wary about the liquid, it worried her that they could use it to put her to sleep to make her disappear or maybe erase her memories, she liked the way the tea smelt though. 

“Don’t worry about it Miss Greengrass, there’s nothing wrong with the tea, it’s just jasmine…But if you don’t like that flavor it’s fine, you can leave there,” the teacher suddenly said before she took a sip of her tea and Harry did the same. 

Watching them drink the tea didn’t ease her worries, still, she didn’t want them to get angry, the last thing she had on her mind was doing something that could make them angry, she was alone here, and she came here because she has been caught masturbating while she was spying on them, she couldn’t help gulp and nod at them, suddenly she took a polite taste of the tea and her expression quickly changed from a serious to a more relaxed one. 

“This tea is good!” Daphne said cheerfully. 

“I’m glad you like it dear, this is not a magical tea but it still makes you feel at ease when you drink it…After all, there’s something important we need to discuss with you,” Professor Sinistra started and Daphne became serious once again after she remembered the reason why she was here. 

“I don’t think there’s anything we can discuss about what I saw but I promise you I won’t tell anyone about it…Of course, my silence depends If you accept to cooperate with me or not professor,” Daphne said with a cold tone, she was a Slytherin after all, she'll always try to get some benefit even in a situation that might not look so good for her. 

“I don’t know what you’re trying to prove Greengrass, we didn’t do anything,” Harry suddenly spoke and Daphne could only roll her eyes. 

“Is that so? Then why were your lips all over the teacher’s lips?” Asked the blonde in a sarcastic tone and Harry couldn’t help but gulp. â€œYes, I know what I saw, I know Potter won’t suffer any consequences but I’m sure you’re going to get in big trouble if this gets known professor,” the blonde said before she smirked. 

Suddenly Harry and Aurora looked into each other’s eyes, they seemed nervous, it seemed like they weren’t expecting Daphne who always looks so innocent and silent, to be as bold as she is right now, it seems like a Slytherin will always be a Slytherin no matter the circumstances. 

“I still don’t know what you’re talking about Miss Greengrass, Mister Potter was just merely trying to help me as something fell into my eyes, it was just dust but we accidentally ended up kissing,” Aurora tried to explain to her student who wasn't convinced by what she was hearing. 

Daphne rolled her eyes and got on her feet, she was starting to get tired of this, she was going to reveal the truth to the headmaster, this was the end of the older woman's career, unless she decided to cooperate of course. 

“Well, it seems like there’s nothing to discuss here, I guess I better get going,” Daphne said in an annoyed tone. 

“Wait!” The professor suddenly said loudly surprising not only Daphne but also Harry. â€œI know there’s nothing I can do to convince you that you have the wrong idea about the situation,” the professor said with a worried tone. 

“Yes, nothing will change what I believe, if you truly are innocent, your name will be cleared with the help of the headmaster, don’t worry,” Daphne was about to get away. 

“What do you want to stay silent?” Now the professor managed to surprise her student who suddenly looked back at the dark-skinned woman having a hard time believing this was happening. 

“Excuse me?” Asked Daphne with a raised brow and a smirk on her face, she was desperate, she loved this. 

“I know nothing will convince you and it’s not like I’m accepting what you believe happened between Harry and I, however…I don’t want to deal with the chaos this misunderstanding can create, so…Tell me what you want from me to remain silent about this?” The professor suddenly asked and she surprised Harry by doing that, he never thought things would go this far. 

As for Daphne, she suddenly moved back to where she was sitting, she wanted to make some demands and she was ready to ask for a lot of things that could benefit her, still, there were a few in her mind that she wanted to get first. 

“I want the recommendation letter you’re only supposed to give at the end of the year to the students you find worthy, I want that recommendation letter!” Daphne was speaking like a true Slytherin if her housemates were here they would've been shocked seeing her acting like that considering she has never shown those qualities that are used to describe the perfect Slytherin member. 

“What!? Sorry, but I can’t do that, only the best students can get that letter from me…Is there something else you would like in exchange for your silence?” the dark-skinned woman was a little worried about the blonde’s demands. 

“Well if that’s how things are then…I want all the answers for your future exams, if you do that I’ll shut up about this,” Daphne laughed, she was practically one step behind reaching her dream, if she's able to get those answers, it'll be easier to get the grades required to enter in the Astronomy department of the ministry. 

“I can’t do that,” Aurora suddenly said with a serious expression. â€œThat’s a rule I can’t break, that could get me into Azkaban pretty quick,” the older woman said with a stern expression. 

“Then why do you give those answers to Potter? Why aren’t you worried about rules when it comes to him the favorite student!?” Complained Daphne. 

Harry and Aurora remained in silence for a few moments, they were staring into each other’s eyes while they were thinking about what the blonde just said and suddenly they couldn’t help but giggle. 

“What? What's so fun?” Asked Daphne with clear confusion on her face. 

“I don’t know how you came to that conclusion but, I have never given Harry any answer to my exams, well, not one accurate of course,” the older woman laughed while the younger wizard just rolled his eyes. 

“She gave me fake answers once which caused me to fail epically of course,” Harry didn’t look so amused as he remembered that moment. 

“You’re lying, if that’s not the truth then why did he suddenly become so good at Astronomy?” Asked the blonde clearly having a hard time believing what they were saying was real. 

“That’s only the consequences of his hard work, he has never cheated and I can swear on my magic that he hasn’t done anything like that,” the professor was so convinced about this and Daphne was getting tired of their excuses. 

“Well, it doesn’t matter what you say, let’s ask the headmaster about your relationship with Potter…Dating a student is forbidden you know?” Asked the blonde with a smirk on her face, she was ready to destroy their lives. 

“There you go again trying to blackmail us…Do you want me to tell the headmaster that you were masturbating in the hallways?” Asked the older witch and Daphne’s eyes suddenly widened, she forgot she was masturbating and she was now cursing herself for having done that, it could ruin her plans. 

“So, there's no escape from this, we can all destroy each other,” Harry said with a shocked expression. 

Daphne gulped, what Harry said was right, all of them had the right information to destroy the other, so, it shouldn’t be too difficult to destroy each other’s life, this secret that they share could be their downfall, unless… 

“Nonsense Harry…We aren’t going to go down, no one is going to lose anything,” Aurora said with a calm expression. 

“W-What are you planning to do?” Asked Daphne a little worried about what the older witch was plotting. 

“Well, you say you wanted the recommendation and I know you’re a good and hardworking student, so…Why don’t you let me give you the same complementary classes I've been giving to Harry?” Asked the professor and Daphne was a little confused. 

“Complementary classes? I didn’t know you could ask professors for complementary lessons,” Daphne was shocked after hearing this. 

“I’m one of the few teachers that give complementary lessons, after all, it's a very difficult subject, so, if you want more lessons and if you’re willing to do the same thing Harry and I do every night then, you’re more than welcome to join us,” the professor suddenly landed her head on Harry’s shoulder and he smiled at her as they stared at the confused Daphne, she didn’t know what to do or say after that proposal.
