They smiled, joked, and ate some food, but underneath it all, there was a great heaviness. Jimin admitted that the days dragged. JK looked a bit overwhelmed (or in his words βDAZEDβ). And even in their laughter, there was this quiet kind of sadness.
WE ARE FEELING SO PROUD OF THEM, but it hurts to know how much they had to endure just to come back to us.

Yes Megan. I was going to say the same thing. There are so many things that BTS says that are cultural that will go over the heads of international Armys. Hybe Boy breaks everything down.

There's a channel called "HYBE Boy" that did a few videos on each of these discharge lives, as well as RM's solo live. As a Korean man himself, who has served his own time in the military, he provides a rough translation/commentary and gives a lot of context to what the members all spoke about, including some pictures of the types of living conditions they speak of. I think it's really valuable information to help our understanding as International fans. It's just supplementary information for you, so you certainly don't have to make any kind of reaction out of it, but I think it would help explain a few things and give you guys a better picture of it all. I found it very valuable, personally. I'll link the videos below, but I just wanted to put it on your radar to check out in your own time. He also did a video about Jimin's letter that he posted on Weverse after Hobi's concert, and then deleted the next morning because he was embarrassed about uploading it while tipsy. As international fans, we can read written translations all we want, but we will always be missing some context or inflection when we do that. I found it very valuable and very wonderful to hear a native speaker, not only ready the letter with the proper emotion he could feel from the words, but translate it the same way. I'd love for you guys to check it out when you have time. Jimin is such a sweet person, and he really had no reason to be embarrassed. 2025-06-27 05:50:44 +0000 UTCBeing here in SK is really interesting during these discharges. I went to the IGin pop-up yesterday with some k-armys agter lunch. Apparently Jimin will have a solo tour thia autumn in fhe style of Jin's; more a fan meet and greet tour than SUGA/j-hope's arena and stadium tours. Save your pennies. JK solo tour will be in the Philippines in early 2026 (January) as a Filo army has a sister working in entertainment and stadium booking... so again, no rest for our wallets. I expect Jimin's tour to finish as JK'S begins. Koreans are super surprised at how many armys came for FESTA this year. There was attendance of 67,000 at each stadium night for j-hope and I met other armys in Gwangju, Jeju and Seoul since festa too, often they're travelling the country like I am to make the most of the trip. People have saved for 2+ years for this trip. Yoongi might go live today or tomorrow but as his was more an office-based job, JnJ, he won't have a ceremony like the others. His letter yesterday was sad for me, he address his scooter incident and felt to apologise when most of us feel he has nothing to apologise for. Finally, the k-armys expect one of the members to announce a formal relationship to the public now they're back. I for one can't wait π€£ I hope they're all happy and if weirdo fans leave because their fav is in a relationship, so be it. Off to Busan tomorrow, will let y'all know how it goes!
