Essentially what happened was due to Goblinโs sadness and wanting to keep his promise to his bride, he decided to stay in between the human world and after life plane in order to use his powers to send rain and the first snow. Taking on the role as a God of rain and snow. God ask him to come to heaven and to have peace but Goblin refused because he wanted to remember his promise as long as he could. Lonely stuck in the precipice world until his memories slowly fade away and stuck for eternity.
