Either way, I am repeating myself here but I would still recomend watching "Why You Should Watch/ Read One Piece" and "The Appeal of One Piece: Where to Start" on Youtube (both from Super Eyepatch Wolf) before even considering to start OP

For sure it is one of the (if not the) most iconic anime/manga of the past decades and has shown immense international economic success and popularity. And apparently, there are a lot of people on here who'd love to see it and it would probably get you a lot of views and clicks, which is definitely one pro argument. However, it is extremely long and I just can't image you (especially Cannon and Carter) liking it at all. I have started reading the manga (and still do) when I was 11 years old, but honestly, I am now in my mid-twenties but feel like the show still is designed to please mostly 11 year olds :/ The pacing, character development and depth are light years beneath what you like (especially considering how much you adore the GOAT AoT). It definitely has its good moments and the world building is actually really cool, but if you don't want to see 1000+ episodes of a show with unbearable pacing and soundtrack recycling and where actual complex and interestingly written problems (war, slavery, corruption) are exclusively solved by punching the one bad guy in the face, then this show is not for you.
