Unfortunately it might be confusing at first especially for Maaike since Daima has dense lore drops & a lot of that lore would be a bit confusing if you didnโt see Super. I think the latest episode includes outright cameos of characters that only get introduced in the second half of Super. But Iโm sure it wonโt be hard to get up to speed anyway!! Itโs intended as a sequel to the Buu saga & prequel to Super

I think Battle of Gods includes a lot more of the lore that Daima references, while the arc retellings delay that info till the 3rd arc if Iโm not mistaken. Either way it wonโt be a big deal, it doesnโt rly matter from which show they learn that info first

It wonโt make as much since though until youโve probably finished Super but Super isnโt a prerequisite for Daima since Daima is about 1 year after Kid Buu is destroyed and Super is about 5 years after Kid Buu is destroyed just so you understand the timeline a bit better because they retcon a lot of this in this new incarnation of Dragon Ball.
