Also I don't know if you noticed but the kid who teleported at Red River was Teddy Stillwell. Madeline's son. So Teddy mostly likely saved himself from the explosion.

Especially this season he really keys into Homelander simultaneously being someone who thinks he's a god and also someone who is so pathetically insecure. I almost forget that it's an actor, he's made such a ridiculous and larger than life character somehow feel real. Should be getting Emmy noms.
