Hereโs a little sneak-peek of a portrait sketch Iโve been working on to practice drawing hair and braids! ๐ Iโve always felt like braids add so much detail & volume to a hair style and there are lots of ways to stylize them, so I decided to start working on a step-by-step tutorial for you guys about how to draw & stylize braids! ๐ฅฐ I used to feel like braids were really complicated to draw but after a while I discovered some fun techniques on how to draw them, so Iโll be sharing those with you ๐
This week Iโve been working on finishing up all the filming for the June studio vlog and itโs almost done! ๐ In this monthโs vlog Iโll be taking you with me through the first week of June, drawing in coffee shops on rainy days, going to the bookstore to get a new art book & draw, and just sharing my week with you ๐ฅฐ itโs going to be a cozy video and weโll get started on editing by this weekend! ๐
Today Iโm going to work on recording the voiceover for this monthโs draw with me video, which is going to show the full coloring & rendering process of my kookaburra studies! I love to make it like a little podcast episode for you guys to listen to while you watch or while you draw ๐ Itโs gonna be a cozy video and will go up later this week! โ๏ธโจ
