Today I felt so inspired by all the possibilities of the things I can draw now that Mermay is over and Iโm no longer drawing mermaids! ๐ so I started a new sketch of a character with a beach background, using a couple references you saw in the mood boards from todayโs newsletter! ๐โบ๏ธ
Itโs been a while since Iโve drawn a background with a character in it, so itโs going to be a bit of a challenge ๐
but as a special reward for you guys, Iโll be posting two real-time process videos of this drawing that show an in-depth look at the process! ๐ The first video will cover the sketching portion from start to finish, and the second video will show the coloring & rendering process ๐ฅณโ๏ธ Since my sketch is already done, the first real-time process video will go up soon so stay tuned! ๐ฅฐ
Anywho, I canโt wait to share those with you!! ๐ and also, thanks to everyone who shared what theyโre trying to improve on/learn in the newsletter comments today ๐ฅฐ I love hearing about what you guys are wanting to learn more about and Iโll definitely keep those in mind while I brainstorm for future tutorials, tips, and step-by-steps! ๐โจ
