Thirdly, it doesnβt stop me from showing off my ass in denim because CLASSIC. CDMX is beautiful. Itβs insane, ya know? You go to another country to experience its beaches and touristy areas, but as Iβm sure most of you know, Iβm not much of a touristy person. I prefer the beaten path and exploring places that are more akin to local. Where we are in the city is in a barrio called La Herradura. Itβs beautiful here. Mexico is such an enigmatic entity in it all. Through American eyes, itβs regarded as a threat, an enemy, dangerous and unknown. Iβm not debating that there arenβt dangerous places, of course, but as an avid traveler, Iβve not felt any more unease than when I lived in Miami. Americans and a lot of western folks are just ignorant.
