One of my favorite little details is that eve thinks her parents forgot her birthday but they actually remembered. Despite that, they still managed to fuck it up with her with how they treated her when she came home. They are so shitty ๐ญ Abusive parent-child relationships are often like this. The main offender and their spouse who enables them by neglecting the child or not taking definitive steps to confront their abusing spouse. Itโs so sad to see
