Maybe not all is lost, as I alluded to from my previous post. I did start to use Blender, but then it hit me: it produces perfect depth maps and contours! Well, you can see the result below.

[Important] What is now and what's to come

TLDR: I'm pivoting from full AI to 3D, or a mix of the two for now.

I feel like the gen AI has plateaued. The anime/drawing branch at least. New checkpoints are being released, new LoRas, but no amount of the restraints can ever give you the exact result. Especially when it comes to very specific setting or composition. You want some character in a generic pose, in a generic setting? - it'll do just fine. But not what I want....
